An X-ray taken at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, of John F. Kennedy's left posterior oblique - lumbar spine, marked, "Kennedy, Hon John/ 10031/ 5-13-52." Hand-processed acetate. In 1952 Congressman Kennedy was seeking election to become the junior senator from Massachusettes. This X-ray was taken prior to a radical spine surgery involving "plate in situ" that Kennedy underwent at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. 14 by 11 inches Categories: John F.
