This green long sleeve shirt was worn by the character Jack Bauer portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland in Day 1: 12:00am – 1:00am, which was the pilot episode for the television series 24 . The shirt is constructed of a green polyester blend material; only one of these used by Sutherland in the pilot. The shirt was later replicated in a softer cotton material for use throughout the remainder of Season One after the series was picked up. The pilot episode introduced viewers to Special Agent Bauer and set up the plot line for the first season in which he attempts to rescue his kidnapped wife and daughter while at the same time protecting Senator Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) from harm. The actor also appeared wearing the garment on the cover of the Season 1 DVD box set and several promotional images and posters for the pilot. One of these posters that Sutherland personally signed for the studio wardrobe department is included in this lot.
