Three handwritten notes from Johnny Cash to his assistants. The first is written to Mrs. Reba Hancock. The undated note regarding attending an event for then Tennessee Senator Albert Gore, Sr. (father of former presidential candidate and Vice President, Al Gore). In full: "Reba, I will do a video, even a commercial for Albert Gore. But I ain't goin'. J.R." The second, written to Irene Gibbs, reads in full, "Irene I'll do it, but I cant see a place in my schedule now can you?" The last, also addressed to Gibbs, reads, "Irene, please see if you can get this book for me. I really need if. J.R." Largest, 8 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches Categories: Johnny Cash
