A one-page handwritten and signed letter from Carl Perkins to Johnny Cash, dated November 15, 1977, written on Carl Perkins stationery. The letter reads in part, "Thank you very much for the pictures. I will treasure them always. Thank you too, John, for letting me be a small part, of what I know will be a very big and successful show. It was good to see you, June, and the Gang again...John, I do hope that we can see more of each other. You know, as you and I have said many times before, this life is just too short & uncertain for good friends not to see each other...I thank God for our friendship, John, and I hope to see you soon."
