JOHNNY CASH BRIEFCASE

A Johnny Cash monogrammed black leather briefcase, used by Cash on his travels during the 1970s and early 1980s. Prominently featured on page 56 of Cash: An American Man, author and close Cash friend Bill Miller recalls the case's history: "Johnny traveled with this monogrammed briefcase in the late 1970s. I often saw Johnny carrying this briefcase, and it stirs many memories. He would open the case and show me photographs he'd taken and songs he'd written." Categories: Johnny Cash
