A Johnny Cash handwritten and signed poem, dated at the top of the page "July 16, 1970," written on a fragment of white lined paper in pencil. Cash writes in full: "Rested, comfortable, free from pain / Tomorrow night I go to Spain/ Tomorrow night / John Carter might write./ 'My daddy took a plane to Spain/ He couldn't take a train to Spain / You cannot take a train to Spain / You must take a plane or boat / And to take a boat you have to float / And floating is too slow to go / He must get back to me you know / So daddy took a plane to Spain.'"
