A pair of sunglasses worn by Prince in the film Purple Rain (Warner Bros. , 1984). Gold rimmed with mirrored lenses. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from from former Prince drummer Bobby Z stating he obtained the glasses from the wardrobe department at the conclusion of filming Purple Rain. Also present are eight promotional film stills, one that shows Prince in the same or similar glasses and a copy of the magazine "Rock & Soul" volume 29, number 184 from February 1985 that shows Prince wearing the same or similar glasses from the film.
