A pair of carbon copies of letters typed on onion skin paper and hand signed by Marlene Dietrich. The first, addressed to Meri von Sternberg, mentions her displeasure with Nixon and reads in part "...Sorry he is a Capricorn. Gives us all a bad name…" and is dated "6/1-70" in Dietrich's husband's hand. The second is the second page to an unknown recipient, again mentioning her dislike of Nixon, as well as the Constitution. Accompanied by a propaganda record with excerpts from Nixon's 1968 acceptance speech as well as an invitation to the White House on behalf of President and Mrs. Johnson in original transmittal envelope dated June 1963 and the secondary transmittal envelope dated 10-6 1964.
