KING KONG PROP TORCH

A wood, fiber and wire prop torch used in the film King Kong (RKO, 1933). The prop was used by actors playing the natives on Skull Island where King Kong is discovered. Actors holding torches such as this can be seen as Fay Wray's character is being sacrificed as an offering to King Kong. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity explaining that the item was purchased from the Culver City Prop House. Housed in a shadow box with a photograph of the torches being used in the film.
