A complete costume made for Kevin Costner's Mariner character in the action film Waterworld (Universal, 1995). Possibly a stunt or backup costume, this multi-piece outfit begins with the multi-paneled vest made of fish skin (actually tooled leather). The panels are held together by hand-tied string, and the vest is trimmed with leather. The pants are made of green Lycra and detailed with leather strips, nylon mesh, and a narrow military belt. Also included are a Neoprene diving vest, webbed belt with pouch and knife sheath and a blackened lace scarf, and a distressed pair of goggles. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
