A ball return unit used in The Big Lebowski (Polygram/Working Title, 1998). This 90-inch-long piece came from the Hollywood Star Lanes, which was used to film all of the bowling scenes. The numbers 21/22 are written inside the fiberglass cowl. Lanes 21 and 22 were the first lanes that The Dude, played by Jeff Bridges, Walter, played by John Goodman, and Donny, played by Steve Buscemi, bowl on while discussing The Dude’s rug.
