A flight suit worn by Jester, played by Michael Ironside, in Top Gun (Paramount, 1986). These olive green coveralls made by Gibralter Industries are marked “Jester #2” on the tag. Ironside is the combat instructor with whom Maverick, played by Tom Cruise, and Goose, played by Anthony Edwards, engage in aerial combat exercises. The flight suit was put back into wardrobe stock and was reused by Tom Sizemore in Flight of the Intruder (Paramount, 1991). Sizemore’s character name, Boxman, is also inscribed in the costume.
