A framed typed, signed letter from President Richard M. Nixon, dated October 20, 1968, and written on his personal stationery. Written during election period, the letter is addressed to Republican Congressman Frank Biondolillo, urging him to “redouble [his] efforts during the closing weeks of the campaign.” Nixon additionally states, “I want you to take this opportunity to wish you success on election day,” and ends his letter with “the country needs your leadership in the councils of government.” Housed in the frame is presumably a black and white image of President Nixon and Congressman Biondolillo.
