$15,000
A white terrycloth belted robe worn by Muhammad Ali in 1980, likely while training for his fight against then-reigning champion Larry Holmes, the second to last fight of Ali’s career. Ali lost the fight when his trainer, Angelo Dundee, refused to let him answer the bell for the 11th round. Leather letters stitched across the back spell “Muhammad Ali.” Satin “Everlast” patch is sewn onto the front left breast. Categories:
