A pair of reproduction armor breastplates molded and created out of lightweight yet durable urethane made for the production of The Last Samurai (Warner Bros. , 2003) starring Tom Cruise. This historically accurate samurai armor was created by binding together overlapping plastic scales that are fastened together with cords of leather and cloth, each plate slightly overlapping along the sides and shoulders as well as at the waist. These stunt versions of the breastplates have pre-drilled and covered holes that were worn over padded vests to allow arrows to be shot into them. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
