A wide black satin belt with front double snap and Velcro closure that was part of Michael Jackson's personal wardrobe. The entire belt is covered in alternating rows of hand-sewn jet bugle beads and Swarovski loch rosen. The belt also features nine mounted silver metal badges reading "Police Captain" with central round jet stones. Interior Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush label. Jackson has been photographed wearing the belt during his February 1992 visit to Africa, where Jackson was crowned as an African king in the Ivory Coast. Accompanied by a copy of Pepsi Presents : Michael Jackson signed on the cover "Love, Michael Jackson." The book features a photograph of Jackson wearing this item in Africa, at an event with President and first lady George and Barbara Bush and performing on stage.
