A white race jacket with red and checkered stripes given by Johnny Rutherford to Vernon Presley, Elvis Presley's father, backstage at a Austin, Texas Elvis Presley concert. Rutherford won the Indianapolis 500 three times: in 1974, 1976 and 1980. Rutherford made 35 starts at NASCAR Winstone Cup events between 1963 and 1988. This personally owned and worn jacket was given to Vernon Presley and obtained from his estate.
