A set of three custom-made weapons from the film Waterworld (Universal Pictures, 1995). The prop weapons were used during the assault on the atoll by the Deacon played by Dennis Hopper. The first is a crossbow made from fiberglass designed to look like it was constructed out of large fish bones. The item was broken and repaired on set and is still functional. The second piece is a hard rubber dual-sided ax which appears to be made from a sawfish rostrum. The third piece is a small axe with a three-prong metal head, wooden handle covered in a wire mesh hose sleeve, and studio blood splatter on the handle. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
