A pair of Elvis Presley owned and worn ACME black ankle boots, size 13, stamped "RJ31221. " The boots were worn in the 1970s. A letter from Joe Esposito that accompanies the lot explains that because of swelling in his feet, Elvis would wear a size 11 1/2 D to 13D size shoe. Esposito goes on to say that Elvis would wear black or white boots on stage with a half-inch lift. These boots were left at the home of Hobart and Bonnie Burnette who owned the Hickory Log Restaurant across from Graceland. Categories: Elvis Presley
