A handpainted poster advertising the April 15, 1956, performance of Elvis Presley in San Antonio with the Farmer Boys, Wanda Jackson and Hank Locklin. The poster reads, "Elvis Presley straight from the Jackie Gleason 'Stage Show.'" Presley had performed on "Stage Show" in January, and "Heartbreak Hotel" was climbing the charts. The crowds for both of Elvis' performances at the Municipal Auditorium were almost incited to riot as they loitered to get Presley's autograph. 28 1/4 by 8 inches Categories: Elvis Presley
