A Les Paul Custom Gibson Black Beauty electric guitar, c. 1968, serial number 537837. This guitar was owned by Duane Allman and later his brother Gregg after Duane's untimely death. This guitar is well played and has the strings with which Larry English received it in 1993. It comes with original case and plays perfectly, according to English. A crude carving on the back reads "Donna I Love U". Donna was Duane's common-law wife. Signed in gold marker pen by Gregg Allman. This lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Larry English, former executive vice president and director of Gibson Guitar. Categories: Les Paul
