A Gibson Custom L-20 acoustic guitar, serial number 93252026, numbered "Proto #2". This guitar was built as a prototype of the rare L-20 guitar, which has a small body with a wider neck. It is made of rosewood, spruce, and ebony, with flower pot headstock inlay and pearl block fingerboard inlays. This instrument is in mint condition, dated c. 1994, and comes with original case. This and other prototypes are discussed in Eldon Whitford's book Gibson's Fabulous Flat-Top Guitars (San Francisco: Miller Freeman, 1994). A copy of this book accompanies this lot. Categories:
