$18,560
A fitted blouse made of peach colored cotton with 14 frontal buttons worn by Vivien Leigh in the motion picture Gone With the Wind (MGM, 1939). This blouse is similar to the one Scarlett O'Hara wears as a volunteer in the hospital sequence when Rhett Butler gives her a buggy ride home. This garment has two labels with green lettering reading, " Selznick Int. Pictures Inc."; both have black ink handwritten annotations, the first noting " Scarlett / No. 20-108-302 ;" and the second " Vivien Leigh / No. 108 701." A number of small holes appear throughout, likely purposely distressed for the plotline of film. This lot is accompanied by a group of three color photographs from the movie.
