A handwritten poem written by Johnny Cash on a sheet of House of Cash stationery, one-page, double-sided, undated. Reads in full: "June was goin' for a poet / A poet she would be / Four line rhymes and sonnets / Quick as one - two - three / You never saw nothing like it / She sits there all day long / And I'm here waitin' at the door / Till she's through with her song / June! Hey honey - hey baby! / She never heard a word I said / She don't know I'm livin / With rhymes goin' through her head / Then she says 'Honey this poems for you,' / And I say I don't mind waiting 'till your through." Also present among the lines of the poem is an address also handwritten by Cash. 8 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches Categories: Johnny Cash
