A two-page handwritten letter on Le Grand Hotel of Rome stationery together with original hotel fax cover sheet dated January 20, 1992. The letter is written to cult film director Abel Ferrara. Madonna tells Ferrara, "It is hard to be feared by so many. To be considered the anti-christ, but it's lovely to know that there are other courageous people in the world, willing to take risks. Like You. I spoke often of you in my interviews and I realized that you're the only American director alive today that inspires me. I feel that Snake Eyes is the only reason I relented to come to Europe, faced with illness exhaustion and so much adversity. I don't want to talk about Body of Evidence anymore. Not that I'm ashamed but it's getting too much attention for having been made in such an unpassionate way." 11 3/4 by 8 inches Categories: Madonna
