$4,480
A silver sequin and bugle beaded white chiffon over white satin halter gown with loch rosen and paillette fringe trim. Originally designed for Midler by Bob Mackie for the finale of The Cher Show (February 12, 1975) which featured Bette, Cher and Elton John. Subsequently worn by Midler in numerous 1970s performances as she portrayed lounge singer Vickie Eydie, the predecessor to her Delores de Lago character. "This photo of Cher, Elton, Bob, Flip and I taken before we taped this performance reminds me that Flip Wilson was also supposed to be in that number. He walked off set, got in his car, and we never saw him again." - Bette Categories: Bette Midler
