A life-size production model of “The Supreme Leader,” played by Anjelica Huston in the 1986 short film Captain EO , directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Michael Jackson. The model is constructed of custom painted molded plastic, mesh, foam, and metal vent hose. Captain EO was created for the Walt Disney theme parks to showcase 3-D technology and ran from 1986 until 1997. Huston’s character was based on a spider, requiring her to be suspended from cables for most of the shoot.
