A set of foam make-up appliances made for Roddy McDowall for one of the "Planet of the Apes" productions. McDowall starred as the chimpanzees Cornelius and Caesar in a series of "Planet of the Apes" films (20th Century Fox, 1968-1973) and as Galen in the "Planet of the Apes" TV series (20th Century Fox, 1974). These unused appliances consist of a upper piece that includes the brow, nose and upper lip and a lower piece that covers the chin and lower lip. These pieces, as they were during the production, are stored on a plastic shell vacuformed off of a lifemask of McDowall. Categories: Planet of the Apes
