A group of three letters relating to Marion Davies and an insurance document listing the jewelry owned by Davies. The six-page insurance document is dated November 10, 1944, and lists a description and places a value on each piece. A portion of the document is broken down by the jewelry location at Wyntoon and Beach House. The first letter is from Louella Parsons, dated September 13, 1949, regarding a request for assistance from a waiter at the Brown Derby. The second letter is on Pigeonnier Jomier stationery and signed simply “Georges.” The third letter is written on Biltmore Hotel stationery and reads in part, “I do hope that you have recovered in some measure from the shock of that dreadful tragedy. I can imagine how you feel, and I sympathize with you deeply.” Dated simply “Saturday” and signed illegibly. Largest, 11 by 8 1/2 inches Categories:
