Signed by Peter Frampton. Mixed Media. After graduating from Otis-Parsons in Los Angeles, Anne Daub worked as a designer in the fashion industry and at Mattel Toys designing fashions for Barbie and creating innovative doll concepts; she realized it was time to pursue her own personal interest in art and design. Oil painting, assembling a collection of unique old world objects, and reflective and transparent materials are Daub’s passion. Combining her interests in materials, it’s clear that imagination is integral in her work, and her goal is to create art that is a bit playful, mysterious, and thought provoking. This approach carries over to Daub’s creative work in numerous public art projects. Projects include the station art and canopy design for the San Dimas Gold Line light-rail project, the Founders Plaza for Santa Fe Springs, and many others. She lives with her husband, Eugene Daub, a sculptor, daughter Michelle, a photographer, and two child cats, Henry and The Snowman. They live and work in their converted warehouse in San Pedro, California. "Good Time Tonight" is a painted and assemblage guitar that celebrates guitar legend Peter Frampton.
