A sheet of engineering plans for Oskar Schindler’s Krakow Nazi munitions factory, dated “15. 11.43.” The plans are not the original drawings but appear to be plans submitted for approval. Stamped in Polish “Archiwum Planow/ budownictwa mijskiego,” which roughly translated reads “Archive’s Plans/ Municipal Building.” Also labeled Fachwerkwand (truss wall) 8 and 3. The factory, where industrialist Oskar Schindler is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews, is now open to the public as a museum. 46 1/4 by 26 1/2 inches, framed Categories:
