A sheet of engineering plans for the roof of Oskar Schindler’s Krakow Nazi munitions factory, dated “15. 11.43.” These drawings show the gradient slope of roof as well as how the roof sits on the support beams. The plans are not the original drawings but appear to be plans submitted for approval. Stamped in Polish “Archiwum Planow/ budownictwa mijskiego,” which roughly translated reads “Archive’s Plans/ Municipal Building.” The factory, where industrialist Oskar Schindler is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews, is now open to the public as a museum. 49 1/4 by 29 1/2 inches, framed Categories:
