A pair of engineering plans for Oskar Schindler’s Krakow Nazi munitions factory. These drawings show gradient slope of roof as well as a table of figures that appears to detail the support and load bearing capability of the roof. The plans are not the original drawings but appear to be plans submitted for approval. Stamped in Polish “Archiwum Planow/ budownictwa mijskiego,” which roughly translated reads “Archive’s Plans/ Municipal Building.” The factory, where industrialist Oskar Schindler is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews, is now open to the public as a museum. Undated. 32 by 30 inches, framed Categories:
