Acrylic on Fiberglass. Bruce Bermudez, born and raised in New Orleans, has been a painter, sculptor, musician all his life. College education: architecture. He toured the world with a band called The New Christy Minstrels, which had five hit records and played the London Palladium for the queen and the White House for the president. He owned and ran a billboard company for a dozen years, servicing all of the major record labels up and down the Sunset Strip and all over Los Angeles. Bermudez is a proud member of the all-original New Orleans-flavored funky rock and roll band Catahoula, whose members include some of the finest musicians on the planet. They are proud recipients of a recent record deal after just being named one of the top 100 unsigned bands in the U.S. in Music Connection. He considers himself the luckiest and most blessed man on Earth, having met and fallen in love with his beautiful wife, Pamela Clay, an incredible actress and unbelievable singer (and she’s in the band!) and being the father of precious and astounding mega-talent Jesse Rowden. Bermudez worked for 10 years as an artist and sculptor for Hollywood special effects companies (Cinnabar, JetSets, Flix FX, and others) and Hollywood studios (Paramount, Universal, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, and others) and is now pursuing his art and sculpture under mentor Tony Clark. "Jimi Rocks" is a painted guitar celebrating legendary left-handed guitarist Jimi Hendrix. Height on base, 10 feet Categories:
