A lot from On Golden Pond (IPC Films, 1981). The centerpiece of this lot is the round, gold rimmed spectacles worn by Norman Thayer Jr., played by Henry Fonda. The glasses come in their original case, which has been signed "Henry Fonda 22 Aug 1980." Also included is one of Fonda's trademark fishing hats, which was part of the set dressing in the cabin. Next, an LP called "Voices of the Loon" signed by all three principals: Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda, and Katharine Hepburn. Jane Fonda has added, "Thanks for helping to protect this mystical bird." The collection is completed by an archive of photographs, Polaroids and slides, an original shooting script, first day cover signed by Henry Fonda, signed photo of Jane Fonda, candid on-set photos, press release, and papers and clippings relating to the charity event at which the glasses and signed LP were won as a prize and letters relating to the history of the fishing hat.
