A collection of 12 original letters from British and American actors to Mr. Bernard Miles, Mermaid Theater Trust, conveying their congratulations on the opening of The Mermaid Theater. The letters are from Noel Coward, Burl Ives, Peter Sellers, Vivien Leigh, Doris and Marty Melcher (Doris Day), Tyrone Guthrie, John Osborne, Teddy Knox, John Gielgud, Harry Secombe, Diana Dors and Donald Wolfit. With the exception of the letter from Teddy Knox, all of the letters are signed. Accompanied by a copy of The Mermaid Theater Review 1959, a commemorative publication marking the opening of The Mermaid Theater at Puddle Dock in London. Categories:
