A leather dress worn by Maureen O'Sullivan in the role of Jane Parker in one of the Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan films (MGM, 1932-1942). The dress has hidden snap and zipper closures as well as handmade leather ties finished with hand-wrapped aglets closing both sides of the garment through a series of eyelets. The collar has a handwritten tag reading "O'Sullivan - Front #1." A pair of leather and cotton trunks were added by a previous owner to complete the look of the costume.
