A 1913 Gibson style O guitar owned by Delaney Bramlett, serial number 141018. The guitar has been refinished and the binding replaced. Singer-songwriter Delaney Bramlett appeared with or taught rock 'n' roll's biggest stars, including George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, and Eric Clapton. Delaney co-wrote songs for Clapton's first solo LP. Clapton credits Delaney for pushing him to sing. Delaney taught Harrison to play the slide guitar and sing gospel, which resulted in the song "My Sweet Lord." PROVENANCE From the estate of Delaney Bramlett Categories:
