A stage worn Keith Richards T-shirt. The white Hanes T-shirt had "Hell" printed in red with a tear down the middle obscuring the word. Cut-off sleeves. Worn by Richards during The Rolling Stones' 1981 American tour. Richards can be seen wearing this shirt in photographs of the band playing on stage at Madison Square Garden, Chicago, and Syracuse as well as the live concert film Let's Spend the Night Together (Northstar, 1982) documenting the 1981 tour. The tour, in support of the album Tattoo You , was the largest grossing concert tour of the year. Richards had recently overcome his battle with alcohol and drugs and was lauded for his musicianship.
