A Drum Workshop (DW) custom drum kit, consisting of 11 drums, played by Michael Jackson's drummer, Jonathan Moffett, during on-stage rehearsals for Jackson's This Is It concerts that were scheduled to take place at London's O2 Arena beginning in July 2009. The kit was intended to be used by Moffett for the entire run of sold-out concerts. The kit features a Jonathan Moffett custom design, in DW's first ever "Quirly Maple" stained wood finish. The kit consists of five "Rack Toms" with rack-mount bracketing and individual diameters and depths of 10 by 8, 12 by 10, 13 by 12, 14 by 12, and 15 by 13 inches. Two "Floor Toms" with 16 by 14 and 18 by 16 inch dimensions, with stand-mount bracketing (i.e., no legs). All Toms feature Remo Coated Ambassador drum heads that exhibit moderate use. Included are three Bass drums with dimensions of 22 by 20, 24 by 20, and 26 by 20 inches. All three Bass drums feature DW custom drum heads on the front, with air/microphone cut-outs at the bottom. Each drum is stamped with a DW serial number. The kit can be seen extensively throughout the documentary performance film This Is It (Columbia Pictures, 2009). The film chronicles the rehearsals and lead-up to Jackson's scheduled sold-out concerts in London in 2009. Included are four "road cases" that are used to house and transport the drums.
