Acrylic Paint, black marker, paper, glitter and yarn on Epiphone Les Paul guitar. Thumbprint art has been something special to do in art class. The 3rd grade wanted to do this as part of the design on the guitar. Birds were one of the first prints they learned so we decided why not do "where bluebirds fly." We wanted to make items on the guitar that related to the Wizard of Oz. After painting the background we then printed the birds on the front and back. The rainbow was created by weaving using the guitar strings as the loom. The yellow brick road is printed on the back leading up to the Emerald Castle. Everyone had fun working on this project. PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUITAR HAS ADDITIONAL EMBELLISHMENT AND DOES NOT FIT IN A STANDARD GUITAR CASE. Categories: Les Paul
