Acrylic Paint, Sponge Brushes, Metal Watering Can, Pom-Poms, Black Marker on Epiphone Les Paul guitar. The class discussed what they would like to put on the guitar. They all thought a flower would be pretty. We first had to paint the background. Everyone took a turn sponging on the background to look like the sky. Having done printmaking in art class the students printed their flowers and then picked out the color pom-pom of their choice to finish off their special flower. The theme "Grown with Love" not only refers to flowers but also the 9 years most students will spend at St. Joan of Arc School. With the love and guidance of faculty and older students this class will "grow," each year. PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUITAR HAS ADDITIONAL EMBELLISHMENT AND DOES NOT FIT IN A STANDARD GUITAR CASE.
