Double-breasted, bib buttoned, cotton shirt with label reading, "Manuel Exclusive Clothiers," together with extra hand painted bib, featuring a Native American ceremonial drum in yellow with ceremonial feathers hanging below, stage worn. Manuel said that he based his design of the western bib shirts for Johnny Cash after those John Wayne wore in his late 1950s and early 1960s epics such as "Rio Bravo," "The Alamo" and "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." Cash wore a variety of these bib style shirts in films, on stage, public appearances, publicity shoots and for his own personal use.
