A black felt fedora with black gross grain ribbon hat band. The interior hat band has "Michael Jackson" printed in gold and the underside of the brim is signed "Love Michael Jackson" in silver marker. This hat was gifted to President George H.W. Bush during Michael Jackson's visit to the White House on February 5, 1990. The hat is accompanied by two letters on White House engraved stationary from Larry Branscum of the National Security Council explaining that the President gave the hat to his assistant Patty Presock who gifted it to Branscum. Presock told Branscum that Jackson had handed the hat to the President saying, "here, Mr. President, perhaps one of your grandchildren might like to have this." Categories: Michael Jackson
