A typed, unsigned, letter dated May 25, 1972, addressed to Isaac Asimov at the Oliver Cromwell Hotel in New York reading, "In my last letter I should have said 'directly proportional. ' I said it right in the format presentation, and you have no idea how many people are going around Hollywood today quoting you. Recommended to Universal Studios the other day they should look at I Robot as a movie idea, and they seemed intrigued, but you can never tell for sure about studio heads.
