Luiz Ferreira (Portugeuse 1909-1994). Two Ferreira magnifying glasses with silver handles with royal standing lion wearing crown on head and leaning against a stone medallion. One with an oval red bloodstone. The other with brown, cream and black stones in a circular medallion with a fleur-de-lis at center in same stones. Each marked on ribbed mount surrounding circular magnifying glass. According to the consignor, these magnifying glasses were purchased in Sintra, Portugal in March of 1995. Length approximately 7.6 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
