A Ronnie Wood custom Fender Stratocaster. The body of the guitar is painted with one of Wood’s most famous works of art, “Conversation Piece,” depicting a Rolling Stones recording session for their A Bigger Bang album. Wood has signed the guitar twice, once in silver ink “Ronnie Wood ‘08” and once in red ink “Ronnie Wood." Wood has additionally drawn the Rolling Stones lips logo on the headstock in red ink. Accompanied by two photographs of Wood holding the guitar and a hardshell case. In "Conversation Piece," Wood has captured the Rolling Stones doing what they do best: creating their distinctive music at “home” in the studio. The scene shows Wood, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts in the studio, recording the Bigger Bang album. It is an intimate look behind the scenes of the Rolling Stones in their creative element. Wood began using guitars as canvases in 1997. His painted guitars represent the perfect union of creative vision that unites a multi-talented genius with all of his artistic passions and foundations. Categories: Ronnie Wood
