A Michael Jackson leather jacket worn on stage during a surprise appearance with ‘NSYNC at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. The band was performing their song “Pop” when the words “King of Pop” appeared behind them, then an outline of Jackson, and a screen went up to reveal Jackson, who took a turn around the stage dancing. The intentionally distressed jacket in burgundy leather was made by Robert Cavalli. Quilted leather accents at elbows and lower back, four hook and eye closures on the lower front of the jacket.
