Elvis Presley’s personal briefcase used in the 1970s. The case was carried by Presley or a member of his staff and contained the following items at all times: gum, cigars, sunglasses, medicine and important paperwork. The case is housed in a shadowbox with a Clark County, Nevada, certified abstract of marriage document issued in 2003, a 1973 letter to Col. Parker from RCA concerning an amendment to a recent contract, a letter regarding insurance, a copy of Presley's aircraft registration application, a blank Texaco charge slip, and reproduction photographs of Presley. When the briefcase broke, Presley gave it to Jo Smith, wife of Presley’s cousin Billy Smith. There are “Elvis In Concert” stickers to each side, one that reads “Jo Smith.” Accompanied by letters of authenticity from Jo and Billy Smith and from the Elvis-A-Rama Museum where the item was on display. 33 3/4 by 41 3/4 inches, overall Categories: Elvis Presley
