A silk gown in autumn shades worn by Rita Hayworth while dancing with Frank Sinatra to "The Lady Is a Tramp" in Pal Joey (Columbia, 1957) and featured on Hayworth in the Lux soap print advertisements. The gown of ruched saffron silk crepon over persimmon silk charmuese has a fitted strapless bodice with a draped skirt. Jean Louis was nominated for an Academy Award for his costume designs on this film. Accompanied by a color publicity image featuring Hayworth in the gown.
